Dear Settlers,

Today, the Anniversary Event has been deployed on the test server. There, you can take a look at the event before it officially starts on August 11, 2025. Soon, we will also provide a compact overview of what is new and what has changed.

The Anniversary Event will start on 11/08/2025
Expect maintenance on or around the 06/08/2025

Do not upgrade your provision house or you barracks - you will need both for this event.
Save some crystals as you will need ventures and we cannot trade these.
Save some adventure loot mail, at various points in this event you will be required to collect amounts of loot from adventures (aim for around 15 saved loot mails minimum), as suggested by Gayhay you can use the wiki to see how much loot can be gained from different adventures.
Only make cakes when you need to, and swap them with players in the guild, this helps your fellow players and the Guild.
Do not despair if you are lower or higher than the threshold for candles and dough, we can trade these items within guild.
Short and Medium searches are best when you are online - send for longer when you are not online.
There are Achievements to aim for during the event.
Please check the information that is available via the web addresses listed below and examine it, some of the quest chains are level dependant.

You will need to make balloons in the Festival Hall in exchange for resource’s, I would suggest that you examine the information in relation to this building - see what items you can make/gather easily and stock up on these prior to the event starting, in relation to some items, help will be available but please remember that there is a whole guild that will also be looking for items to turn into balloons, so if we don’t have enough stock of one item please don’t be disappointed if we offer you something else instead.
Once a community goal has been reached do not donate balloons until the next community goal is started, only donate whole amounts - donating 956 and then 46 is not good, wait till you have 1000, and then donate

There are a lot of quest chains in this evert so work at your own place if you manage them all well done, if not then be sure that you efforts will be appreciated.

The merchant will not have items that can be brought for event currency, so if you want to splash out you going to need Gems (this is how the Anni event has always been).

FUNY GUILD NEWSLETTER #3

Summer Event / Football Event.

I hope the you all enjoyed the last event, and got some good items from it, this Guild gave away in the final week over 175,000 footballs, that were donated by players to the Guild Bank, we would like to offer a HUGE THANK YOU to ever member that donated, we helped a great many players in the Guild, you are AWESOME (cue The Lego Movie - everything is awesome song and replace the word everything with FUNY), players that benefitted from the Guild bank just remember that this Guild will always try its best to help and support you.

Using Guild Chat.

We the Officers are pleased to see that more FUNY members are using Guild Chat - we thank you for this, and would like to encourage you all to use this facility as being part of a Guild is all about getting involved, pop in, say hello and get to know your fellow Guild members, we are a friendly group and love to chat. Guild members that do not use Guild Chat have a greater chance of being removed.

Buffing.

Please DO NOT buff players Islands without asking first.
Did you know that in most cases if you have a quest to 'Apply 'x' amount of buff on a friends island' - dropping fish or meat in a deposit will cover almost all of these, if the quest requires a specific buff that must be used - ask in Guild Chat for a player that would like these, I am sure that you will find players that would like you to place these for them.

Requesting Items in Guild.

We have no issues with helping fellow Guild members, but please only ask for what you need when you need it - in relation to buffs, asking a player to place a buff for you if you send to then will always result in you getting extra time from the buff once applied. Please also remember manners, no one likes demands, but we all appreciate when a players use please and thank you.

Buildings.

We are hoping to run a free building giveaway very soon, for players level 60 and below, so if you have any un-used building collecting dust in your star menu, and feel that another Guild member may benefit from it, please send to me, thank you.

Buff Packs.

The Guild store has been donated buff's by Guild members, I want you to send me the request for the buffs that you would like, so as before select two categories, check that I am online and send you request for the buffs, the cost of each item on the list is 1 x fish, so please have a look at the Buff Packs page on the website and send your orders to me.

Holidays or Absence from the Game.

Going away or won’t be online for a while please let an officer know, this way your place in the Guild can be protected. If we see a player not online for a continued period of time without us having been notified, you may well find that you no longer have a place in this Guild, so please let an Officer know.

For the Officers.

This is a Great Guild, we consider ourselves as a very helpful Guild, always quick to give advice and help where and when needed, we have a great team of Officers in this guild as you are well aware of, and a great membership of players, but as much as this is your game and you play as you wish, we would like to encourage you all to use the Guild Chat room, if your online just pop in and say hello, thats all really, even if your shy and english is not your first language just pop in and say hi, we like to chat in this Guild and love it when players do so.

Now a great many of the players in this Guild do use the Guild chat room, help in event's and pass on information, tips and little trick's that they have learnt while playing this game, and for this we commend you, you are the right player for this Guild, after all being in a Guild is all about teamwork, we would like to see more of this - if you are a regular uses of the Guild chat room, and get invloved in Events then you are doing everything thats is required.

From now on, we would like to encourage the few players that do not do this to please start doing so, your place in this Guild could very well depend on this, no longer just logging in and doing Guild Quest will guarentee your contuined place in our Guild, we know that some players do not like the social side of the game, but please just pop into chat when you are online and say hi (not every day, but a couple of time's a week), we will be glad to see you doing this, after all being in a Guild is all about being involved, otherwise why are you in a Guild?
