The Missing Scrolls of Palacurious.

The game is based in a time long past, where magic and mystery lived side by side, a time of great piece and happiness, but as always there is always one who wants to change things mostly for the worst, that's where you come in, you take the lead in this game and the future of the surrounding lands lies in your hands.

All you have to do is recover some items that were taken and get home again, that simple.

This was how the game was looking leading up to its first demo of work in progress.

This brought to light some bugs in the code and also provided me with some needed feedback from the members of the 'Div Arena Website.

Some improvement was then made to the code in relation to movement and object selection.

So that is how the development ended just before Christmas 2002, as I also have other commitment like everyone else I had to place the further development of the game on hold until I had time to work on it again.

So this is where the story continues, its now August 2003, and I have been playing around with the code for a month or so, I have rewritten most of the original control routines and have spent time on improving the look and feel of the game and its environment.

This is how the main in-game screen looks.

It now has a more wooden look to the main in-game environment.

The development of this game any further has now been halted, it is however hope that in the not to distant future that a version of the Development system that helped me code the above will be compatible with XP, so until that time to play the demo you will need a partition on you PC that boots in to win98.
