PANIC ZONES

This was a top down shooter / puzzle type game that I was making, the development did not get past five demo screen.

The project did not develop very far due to an upgrade in operating systems, but I have not given up hope on this just yet, I am hoping that in the very near future that a version of the development system that this was created in will be available for use on XP computers.

Level 1. Starting out and Stocking up.

The level comprises of an array of pickups, Bombs, Shots and score Bonuses, once the last small yellow dot is picked up, the exit will reveal its location, this will then enable the player to end the level and move on to the next.

Level 2. Timing is the Key.

This level will have two automated guns firing both up and down the key rod, so collect all the yellow dots and leave, this level contained medical packs, just in case you were shot but the automated guns, getting shot once or twice would not kill you but would lower your health status for that life, medical packs would restore a small amount of you health, up to you full health.

Level 3. Fire and Ice.

The introduction of ice in to the levels, making you slide in the same direction that you passed over it, all of the ice points will have automated fire jets, these also will not kill you outright, but will however diminish you health, thus the inclusion of medical packs, don't want to kill the player before the training levels are over.

Level 4. Don't Get Wet.

This level saw the introduction of teleports and acid, to get to the first teleport, you must cross the ice, so you must time your approach very carefully, automated guns are firing from alternate side of the ice slide, the orange strips are acid, to be avoided at all costs, if you get you feet wet, your dead.

Level 5. Avoidance 1 0 1.

The above level has Ice and Teleports, the ice will have fire running down both sides in a sequence, so you approach will need to be timed just right, the two long runs will have automated guns, and will also see the first introduction of an enemy target, that will be easy to kill, but deadly to the touch.

As you can see from the screen shots above, there is still a great deal of work for me to do but that's for another time.
